39 weeks 4 days

We had our appointment today. We have slowly progressed to 2 cm and I'm 50% effaced. She also said "your minus two"... Not sure what that measurement was and when I asked she didn't have a great way of clarifying besides just another thing she checks for.

She said baby is much lower this time and that she "can feel her ears"!!! Which is really weird to think about! She also scraped my membranes but 7 hours later it seems to have had no effect.

I have an appointment set up for next Wednesday just in case I'm still pregnant by then. If that's the case, we'll discuss an induction date. She doesn't really want me going past 41 weeks (which is Sat July 30th - but I'm certain they don't induce over the weekend). She said we would probably plan to induce you that Friday, to which I smiled and said "I knew that would be the case." And then told her that my sister has her delivery set for that date as well. So my doctor said "we can do it Thursday then." And I said, "it's no big deal. She lives in GA and my parents will be leaving on Thursday. I'd rather just wait and see if we go naturally until the 29th." And she agreed with my thinking -- and then said "just know that you and your baby are in a good condition to be induced at any point from here on out." 

So time will tell.
