He's starting to prefer planes over cars. And prefers swings over slides now. He loves going to the park, zoo and cottage. Enjoys the farm animals, giraffes, elephants and FISHIES!!!!!
He's getting a little more social with kids and a little bolder with adults. I may hold him in higher regard just because I'm his mom, but I think he's very good at being polite and learning to share. He has his moments with following directions and listening to mommom and dada! (He's started calling me mommy (or Jay) instead of mommom).
Potty training is pretty good. We still have to put him on the toilet on a regular basis -- he really makes no initiation in telling us when he has to go -- but his accidents happen much less. He still wears a diaper for naps/bed but will often wake up dry.
He goes to bed around 8:30. He likes his big boy bed and pillows and sleeping with "wamb", elephant and bear. He will ask to go to bed and/or "cuddle wis mom-mom". He likes having me sing "Mary had a little lamb", "rock a bye bay" and "twinkle twinkle". He's also learning some of the lyrics. Sometimes he prefers to read a book instead. But he also tells me when to turn off the light and/or go downstairs.
His vocabulary is out of this world. He parrots everything we say. Asks "what dat?" and "what dis?" On repeat. He often talks in sentences. He loves learning and retains so much information, it's shocking!
He makes me smile like no one else can! Love this kid to pieces!!!
