She's had a few baths at home. The first one she did not like, but in her defense Aaron and I completely forgot that our bathtub has an infant slinging . Once we started using that, she has enjoyed her baths without any fussing.
She smiles a lot more than Avett did when she's sleeping. She loves to be swaddled and sleeping on someone's chest.
She sometimes has a witching hour which ranges in time and duration but usually anywhere in the 6:30-9:30 time frame and the easiest way to calm her down is to take her outside and rock on the glider.
Haddie has had a very busy first three weeks of life with lots of fun experiences. The first weekend, when we were in the hospital, Aaron's parents and grandma were in town and able to help us transition home. The following weekend Ashley, Jesse, Maxwell and Lucy came down for a visit. Friday night we went to Lakefeint Brewery for their fish fry. On Saturday we went to Cool Waters water park and then to the traveling beer garden that happened to be right in Greenfield Park. We grilled out at home for supper that night. Sunday morning we toon the kids to the zoo before the Roberts headed for home. During her second week of life, she went to the cottage for the first time (Thursday and again on Subday and Monday). That Saturday (Aug 6) we woke up early and drive to Sturgeon Bay in Door County for my Aunt Ann's final internment and celebration of life afterwards. Haddie did well in the car rides to and from home with only a little crying at the start of our trip. This past week, she went to the State Fair and to the library to help pick out books for Avett and again today to join in on "Rhyme Time". She hung out with Aunt Kathryn all day on Saturday while we were at a wedding. She went to the State Fair again for a short period of time. I got her a new carrier (the Baby K'tan) that we tried out yesterday for a hike at Lapham Peak. We like it so far!!
