Bubbler

Today, little man hit his most important milestone as a Wisconsite...he drank from a bubbler!

The kid was non-stop whining over how thirsty he was and low-and-behold I left his water in the car. 

To put all the fussing to rest, I hoisted Avett up to the bubbler (quickly tucked both his arms to his side when he tried instead to splash in the water) and watched as this kid drank with the biggest smile on his face! He actually coordinated the whole thing pretty well, and was only inhibited by how wide his smile was. 

So that was fun but no cure to the whining, because for the rest of the time all I heard was "more wah".
