Back logging

We don't do much out of our usual work-week routine followed by our weekend lake getaways. But we have sprinkled in some fun here and there.

Aaron's company has shut down over the Fourth of July. Because of that, we were able to make a trip up north to visit Jesse, Ashley and Maxwell at their home in Ishpeming. Aaron's parents were able to join us while we were there as well. All four dogs were also under the same roof. We made several trips into Marquette to look at the updated campus, hike Sugarloaf mountain, walk downtown and in the Lower Harbor, stop at the breweries and try out some new restaurants. We also spent some time at Lake Michigamme before we drove up to the Kewennaw peninsula for more drinking at KBC. And we made a couple trips to Teal Lake for the dogs to run around. 

We were actually back at home over the holiday, and spent the Fourth of July at Summerfest at The Avett Brothers concert. We had so so so much fun! They are a great act live! 

We made a very quick trip over to MI for a little Bollwahn reunion. It started off with a horrible traffic, construction, and emotional trip over. But the fun and memories were well worth it! Every single family member was able to make it! 

We took a family trip to the zoo.

And Avett had his first trip to the State Fair today. He was crabby, tired and crying 50% of the time.
