Happy Memorial Day to everyone. I hope you were all able to enjoy the Holiday. It was my first time enjoying the day off since I've started working. First, I have to thank our family members who have served and their families who also sacrificed greatly. Second, I have my new job to thank. There are plenty, plenty of SLPs at the hospital so that we only have to work one holiday a year. Juxtapose this to my last job where I was the only SLP and thus worked every holiday. One more reason to like my new job!
We spent our long weekend at the cottage. We got out on Saturday morning and there was lots of family out over the next couple of days. Avett had several little cousins to play with! The weather wasn't the greatest throughout the weekend, but we endured.
