+2 weeks

Haddie had her weight check on Thursday. Since she was at 11#, 5 oz last time we were expecting her to be at 12#, 2oz which would aline with the ounce a day rule since her appt was 13 days prior. I put Haddie on the scale and felt my heart sink when I saw the numbers settle on 11#, 14 oz. To my surprise, the doctor was satisfied with this. It showed an increase from gaining only 1/3 oz a day to 3/4 ounces, so we are trending in the positive direction. Our 2 hour regimen and eating lactation cookies has to continue. Her weight will be checked again in 2 weeks. Hope for continued and increased gains.
