It's football season and our baby is sick of sitting on the bench. I finally felt him/her warming up yesterday (more like middle of the night) and practicing some kicks. Baby got a little nervous around Dad and wouldn't show off his/her kicking skills, so he's still patiently and excitedly waiting to feel the baby's powerful legs!
...Maybe freezing our bums off at the Michigan State vs. Northwestern game earlier in the day is what this baby is all about. Taking after Daddy already. But, the Wiedmeyer's will be damned if this baby is a Spartan fan!
It's hard to see the baby bump when I'm covered in layers of clothing and a puffy jacket to try and keep warm, but I promise it's there and getting BIG! As evidenced by my supervisor stating "you really popped this week", random people at work rubbing my belly, and Kathryn staring at my belly with her mouth gaping open even when I was wearing my scrubs.
(P.S. My doctor was totally right. I was feeling some stuff going on in my belly this past week but I couldn't figure out if it was my tummy rumbling cuz I'm always hungry, if it was just gas bubbles, or if it was muscle twitches.)
